Commercial Tenant Improvement
Foothills Ranch, CA
2014
The program called for a 3,700 SF assembly space including lounge spaces, kitchenette and conference rooms for employee training and presentations, as well as supporting office and administrative areas within a large suburban office complex. The design and amenities provided were intended to appeal to the younger professional demographic working at this office building in Foothills Ranch.
Bole International served as Interior Designer for this project and developed early concepts that would guide the final design. I was brought into this project to prepare the construction documents and coordinate the work of the consulting engineers. The project involved mainly interior architecture with a large amount of the effort dedicated to creating engaging lighting strategies and detailing finish assemblies. Some notable design elements included the battered and radiused “cave” wall with integrated displays in the lounge, revealed, stone tile walls at the suite entry and acoustic ceiling and walls assemblies in the conference rooms and lounges to mitigate the minimalist, industrial aesthetic.
